At Sprouts Christian Academy, we prioritize a loving, faith-centered environment that nurtures both education and socialization for every child. In researching further education for our children, I met with several people to engage in conversations about our desires. There is a true lack of schools that were geared towards what we were wanting and needing in today’s world.

A school that meets a child Where they are With what they need with a Christian emphasis.

Allowing a child to advance when they grasp a concept and slowing down when they need more time - plus a social outlet amongst peers.

I felt God continuing to lay this burden on my heart. Our family prayed over it and joined with Sofia and Cody at Little Roots Christian Academy (preschool) and together we knew that God was bringing us together to fill a larger vision.

Questions you may have about us

What is your educational approach?

We use an eclectic curriculum tailored to each child's needs, integrating various teaching methods. Your child will start with an evaluation to determine a "grade" level for Language Arts and Math, then begin their unique learning path. When children aren't challenged academically, they begin to act out, with our approach a child is always learning and growing.

What is the schedule?

Our program is 3-days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I am happy to discuss alternative schedules to accommodate families.

How do you incorporate faith?

God is central to our environment, and we integrate fundamental Christian applications into our lessons and social interactions. In addition, daily we have a Bible lesson and recite the 10 commandments.

We believe in 1 true God, our Father, who lives in Heaven. He sent his son, Jesus, to earth as the last sacrificial lamb to allow us to freely repent directly to God. And who ever believes in Jesus will have eternal life in Heaven. We believe that God provided us with the bible, written by God-inspired men, as a way of worshiping Him, learning how to live a Godly life, and getting to know Him better. We believe the bible is living, relatable, and true. We believe in the Holy Spirit, as our connection to God, and whom we need to provide us guidance on earth. We believe in the Holy Trinity - Father, Son & Holy Spirit.

What age groups do you serve?

We welcome children between the ages of 5 & 9, focusing on their individual growth regardless of what the school system has classified as their "grade" .

How is my child supposed to make friends?

With God’s guidance, we hope to grow over time up to 12 students (before we split into multiple places), in addition we suggest becoming involved in church, a co-op, and special interest activities such as sports, music, dance, theater, chess club, orchestra, etc.

As we grow, your student will be in an environment of socialization and enrichment within our faith-centered framework.

How can I enroll my child?

Please contact us directly for availability, enrollment information and to discuss your child's needs.

Yes, you will have access to the programs plus receive reports. You’re also welcome to join us any day.

Who will teach my child? Are they qualified?

For the Core subjects, we use an online platform developed by certified teachers. View details of our Curriculum in the Parent and Student Guidelines.

Will my child learn the subjects they needs to know?

Yes. The Core subjects: Language Arts, Math, Social Skills, plus are taught and developed by certified teachers.
Other subjects taught using certified curriculum are: Health, PE, Science, and Character. For Enrichment, Life Skills, and Bible, we have found online sources to help us provide a structured lesson plan.

I've evaluated over 70 curriculum to help best fit the needs of our children. And because of this, I know that what works for one may not work for another. So, I will start with a single curriculum and move on if the child does not like it (not engaging), or if it’s too easy (we want them progressing their knowledge), or if You are finding something you don’t like about it. No matter what, we want to foster a love for learning, with happy & successful children.

Will I know if my student is succeeding?
