Our Curriculum

A faith-based approach to holistic education and socialization.

Sprouts program includes Language Arts, Math, and Foreign Language through an online adaptive program which helps catch and fill in gaps in a child's learning as well as allowing them to advance at their pace. We don’t start a student in a “grade-level” we simply use an evaluation test to see what they know and start where they are amongst their peers.

We Are unique

You didn’t come this far to stop

NO HOMEWORK

We try hard not to have homework, we believe the students should feel they are learning at a comfortable pace. And all students have the opportunity to focus on work they would like to strive better in. A teacher may step-in and provide subject based tutoring when it’s needed or requested.

All Sprouts students and parents can have access to their child's online academics. This allows flexibility when sick or traveling. Although we take attendance for safety, absences or tardies are not punished. We simply ask to be informed.

Stars are given for doing well academically, good character, and for completed life-skill goals.

Monthly, each student will count up their stars and we turn that into a 10% monetary donation to a mission. The kids get to choose a mission. The remaining stars can be turned into a treasure or saved for a larger treasure.

FLEXIBILITY

Homeschool vs. Public Statics

Public School Stats:
  • 30% of students don’t graduate

  • 70% dropout rate in cities

  • 2 in 3 students can’t read proficiently

  • 20% report bullying and more go unreported

  • 55% of students feel unprepared for life after school

Public schools do not teach critical thinking, which allows them to become easy targets for the latest secular opinion. A critical thinker can listen, learn, and formulate an intelligent argument based on facts.

In public schools, many fall behind easily. When a student misses a day or doesn’t grasp a concept, they are automatically left behind. A teacher of 30 cannot focus on One.

In counter, students who are not challenged often act out, then become negatively labeled as troublemakers, ADD, Fidgety, etc. And this “labeling” creates an anti-school view, where they don’t want to apply themselves in any subject.

Thankfully You Have Options. There’s A Great Solution in Homeschooling. And we’d love to offer you a group homeschool environment.

Homeschool Stats:
  • 69% of homeschooled students are successful in both college and adulthood (S1 Link) and (S2 Link)

  • You help control what they learn (Peace of mind knowing your child is free of negative and dangerous influences)

  • Biblical values, independent thinking, and truth

  • Flexibility to go on vacations, field trips, and miss class for any reason (family visiting, illness, etc) without missing anything academically.

  • Kids learn about their interests! With time to explore topics they are passionate about, they’ll gladly teach themselves because they love learning!

  • Homeschooling allows for deepened understanding, as opposed to being limited by the time constraints and large class sizes in public schools. (S3 Link)

  • No bullying, political agendas, standardized testing, and a one-size-fits-all approach. Homeschooling offers a better education.

  • Strong social and emotional development. (S4 Link)

  • And there's more studies and stats (S5 Link) and (S6 Link)

A nurturing, faith-centered learning environment.
